Here are some ways that you can have an impact in transforming the life of a deserving young adult:

“Adopt and Support” a Participant’s U-ROC Leadership™ Experience

The costs to run this program are $4,400, per participant, for U-ROC Leadership™ to present the high-quality curriculum and pay highly qualified facilitators. Your financial support, either personally or through corporate donations, removes the barriers for us to serve more participants in this transformational program. If you can’t do $4,400 to adopt a participant, any contribution will help support the implementation of this transformational program.

Offer a Paid Internship to a U-ROC Leadership™ Participant

We tailor our internships to the interests and skills of each individual rather than channeling them into focused career areas. Therefore, we need a wide range of companies and non-profits in which to place our students.
If you’re willing to hire a full or part-time U-ROC participant, you’ll be receiving a well-vetted employee who is actively learning leadership skills during our focused workshop sessions. These include workplace communications, teamwork, project management, conflict resolution – and above all – how to display integrity, courage, responsibility and an understanding of what it takes to be a competent, caring and contributing member of your team.

Become a Mentor to a U-ROC Participant

Adults 18 and over can volunteer to check in weekly, with U-ROC participants during the 28-week experiential and internship program, either virtually on Zoom or with a call or text. Participants can discuss or clarify workplace skills they learn in class or discuss any difficulties they are having with their internships in order to brainstorm solutions. Sometimes, the participants just need someone to listen – as we all do!
